Jonatan Altszul is co-founder and Managing Director of Aconcagua Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in hi-tech companies in the Latin American region to develop them into high growth global companies. He is also co-founder of CORE Security and the Chairman of its Board of Directors.
Prior to founding Core, Mr. Altszul was a member of the Special Projects Group at the Argentine tax agency. This elite group evaluated and developed critical hardware and software security products for the agency in projects with budgets of up to $500MM. Before that, in 1989 he founded and, until 1992, served as the CEO of Datyl Systems, a company that developed the first commercial Geographical Information Systems software in Latin America . Also, in 1999, he co-founded Movilogic, a mobile solutions company based in Buenos Aires.
In 2000, while leading CORE as its CEO, Endeavor Global, Inc., a non-profit supporter of entrepreneurship in emerging markets, selected Mr. Altszul as a top entrepreneur of the year. Jonatan Altszul actively supports the development of the High Tech Sector in Argentina. Jonatan is the proud father of Olivia and Tadeo.
As president, CEO and member of the board of directors, Mark Hatton is responsible for setting CORE Security’s strategic direction and overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations.
With over 20 years of progressively diverse general management, sales and operations experience, Hatton has established a proven track record for generating revenue, building operations and providing successful leadership and direction. He has held senior roles with companies ranging from venture capital-backed, early-stage software vendors to a Fortune 500 information technology services and distribution organization.
Prior to joining CORE Security, Hatton was president of North American operations for Sophos. During his tenure, he was instrumental in significantly growing the company’s North American business and transforming the company into the one of the fastest growing and largest independent security vendors in the industry.
Hatton holds an MBA from Boston University, Massachusetts and a BA Communication from Westfield State College, Massachusetts. In 2006, he was inducted as a member into the prestigious Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), which includes more than 10,000 young global leaders in 80 nations.
Mr. Akamine has spent his career in high technology as a scientist, executive and investor. He was the co-founder and former chief executive officer of Postini, an email security SaaS company acquired by Google. Mr. Akamine’s investments and board of director positions include AppRats, BlueSpark, CloudShare, Core Security, LiveCapital (acquired by D&B) PlayPhone, Postini , Unsubscribe.com (acquired by TrustedID) and YOICS. Mr. Akamine is the inventor of ten patents and was honored in 2004 with an Outstanding Inventor award by Stanford University. He was previously recognized by NTT in 1994 for the best research within NTT Worldwide.
Mr. Akamine earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
Jerónimo Bosch is a partner of Grupo Pegasus, an investment firm based in Argentina that manages long term investments in the retail, real estate, financial services, technology and agribusiness sectors, with presence in Argentina and other Latin American countries. He has over 16 years of experience in private equity and venture-capital investing, mergers and acquisitions, financial restructuring, corporate finance and real estate in Latin America and the United States. Mr. Bosch is also director of Farmcity SA, Freddo SA, Masnegocio SA de CV, and Pegasus Real Estate. He is also a board member with HelpArgentina, a foundation that connects expatriate donors and local non-for-profit social organizations.
Before returning to Argentina and joining Pegasus in 2003, he lived for eight years in New York, NY, São Paulo (Brazil) and San Francisco, CA, working in different capacities at Morgan Stanley and Salomon Brothers.
He holds a B.S. in Economics from the Universidad de San Andrés in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Peter Chung is a Managing Member of Morgan Stanley Venture Partners and Managing Director of Morgan Stanley. Chung joined Morgan Stanley in 1993 in the Technology Corporate Finance Department and helped open Morgan Stanley´s first Silicon Valley office in Menlo Park in 1994, where he focuses on technology investments. In addition to his role at Core Security Technologies, Mr. Chung investment experience involves additional current and prior board positions including Perceptive Software, iRise, Plateau Systems, vBrick Systems, Sendmail and Socialware. Chung is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Morgan Stanley Venture Partners
Dr. Hamburg serves on the board of directors of high technology companies and as an operating partner with Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital. His directorships include Interactive Intelligence Incorporated (NASDAQ: ININ), ThruPoint Inc., Sendmail, Inc., and DocuWare Gmbh, as well as the non-profit American Institutes for Research. He was executive vice president of corporate operations and chief financial officer of SPSS Inc. from 1992-2004. Before its acquisition by IBM in 2009, SPSS was a global public company providing predictive analytics technology and services.
Hamburg received a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago as well as B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Maryland at College Park.
Steve Munford is Non-Executive Chairman at Sophos. He served as Sophos' CEO from 2006 to 2012 and, during that time, led the company through a period of dramatic growth, more than tripling bookings. Prior to his role as CEO, Steve served as President of Sophos for North America and then became Chief Operating Officer, responsible for the day-to-day running of the company and its senior management team. Previously, he was President of ActiveState before its acquisition by Sophos in 2003. Under his leadership, ActiveState established itself as a global leader in email security software.
Steve has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Western Ontario and has an MBA from Queen's University, Ontario.
Alfred Huger has held technical executive roles in the computer and network security industry for over 16 years. A three-time veteran of launching successful start-up companies, Alfred has co-founded and sold companies to Mcafee/Intel (NASDAQ: INTC), Symantec (NASDAQ: SYMC) and Sourcefire (NASDAQ: FIRE). Alfred has extensive experience with endpoint security software, Cloud based services (SaaS), big data analytics platforms and Managed Security Services. He is currently the VP of Development at Sourcefire in charge of product delivery for their Advanced Malware Group.
