CORE Security Earns Security Innovation Alliance Program Award at McAfee FOCUS 2013 Security Conference

Earns “Rookie of the Year” Award for SIA Program

Boston, MA. and, Las Vegas, NV. —October 7, 2013– CORE Security®, a leading provider of predictive security intelligence solutions, announced that it has been named “Rookie of the Year” for 2013 in the  McAfee® Security Innovation Alliance™ (SIA) partner program.  CORE Security earned this designation based on its relatively short tenure with the program, integration with multiple McAfee solutions and the ability to be agile and dynamic.  The award was presented to CORE Security at the McAfee FOCUS 2013 security conference held in Las Vegas last week.

As a Technology Partner in the McAfee SIA program, CORE has integrated its Insight® Enterprise solution with the McAfee ePO suite.  This integrated solution offers vulnerability validation and attack path determination via patented Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms, adding security intelligence to McAfee ePO and enabling customers to comprehensively handle vulnerability management.  CORE Insight consolidates, analyzes, and prioritizes the overwhelming amount of data generated by network and web scanning technologies, such as the McAfee Vulnerability Manager network scanner.  CORE’s Insight ensures commercial organizations and government agencies reduce risk and increase operational efficiency by identifying imminent and critical threats, allowing IT professionals to address and remediate the highest priority threats first.

“We’re thrilled to be highlighted as “Rookie of the Year” in the McAfee SIA program, as we’ve worked hard to integrate our solutions with McAfee’s solutions, and this award recognizes those efforts,“ said Joseph Schramm, director strategic alliances, CORE Security.   “We carefully evaluated technology partners with complementary solutions and a similar approach to solving security issues.  McAfee stood out in the market, and we put our resources to work to integrate with the McAfee solution family; this award shows the fruits of that hard work.”

“We are pleased to recognize CORE Security as the “Rookie of the Year” for 2013 in the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance program,” said Ed Barry, vice president of the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance. “We work with our partners to offer the best integrated solutions to the marketplace, and CORE has been an important partner for our customers.”
